Overall Experience
The itinerary is thoughtfully designed to create a balance between learning, practice, and relaxation, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in a transformative yoga journey in Bali.
Step beyond the shala and into Bali's wider landscape - the water temple at Tirta Empul, the Tegallalang rice terraces, sunrise at Campuhan Ridge, and the sacred forest in central Ubud. The excursions below are included in the course schedule and arranged around the shala's rest days.
Bali Beach
Step away from the mat and onto the soft sands of Bali’s breathtaking beaches. Whether it’s sunrise meditation by the ocean or a sunset visit to a hidden cove, the rhythm of the waves brings your awareness inward and seals your practice with elemental peace.
Pura Tirta Empul
A 1,000-year-old Hindu temple famed for its sacred spring water, where Balinese Hindus perform melukat - a traditional purification ritual. Step into the holy pools, receive the cleansing flow over your head, and feel the same devotional energy that Indian temples carry.
Rice Terraces
Walk through Bali’s emerald rice paddies - the iconic Tegalalang terraces near Ubud cascade down the hillside in graceful curves. Built using the ancient Subak irrigation system (a UNESCO heritage), they offer a meditative immersion in the rhythm of nature, sky and earth.
Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
Wander through ancient temples nestled inside a lush jungle home to hundreds of long-tailed macaques in the heart of Ubud. The sanctuary embodies the Balinese principle of Tri Hita Karana - harmony between humans, nature and the divine.
